This is displayed in an easy to miss place near the plaque exhibition but hang out of the light at the back wall of a glass cabinet. Well worth looking out for as it is difficult to phiotograph due to the lighting. Scroll down for a little video of this medieval embroidery.

" Orphrey Fragment, early 1500s"
Used as a decorative border for an ecclesiastical vestment, this fragment was made in a professional embroidery workshop. Few medieval vestments have survived because most were burnt during the Reformation to extract the gold and silver threads. Made in the Low Countries
